Registration

When creating an account, only put letters/words in your username. No numbers or symbols. Do not make it insulting, which means no swear words or insults. I’d like it if your username was your character’s name, but it’s not mandatory. After your account is created and activated, put your display name as your character’s first and last name. The first letter of each word capitalized only. While on this site, be respectful of others.

Role Playing

On this site, anything is allowed. That means overall, this site is rated mature. Sex, swearing, drugs, and alcohol use are allowed. But when in a thread that’s not for everyone, put [M] in the title of the thread. [M] means that there is explicit content in the thread, whether it be sex, drug use, etc. But do not be immature. Stay reasonable, when too much is too much, fade out and come back after the moment.

When role playing, post a minimum of one paragraph. No one-liners at all. Also, no god-modding, power playing, Mary-Sues, or Gary-stues. For those who are not familiar with those terms, let me say it better. No controlling anyone else’s character without permission from the character’s owner and a staff member. When in a fight, your hits to not automatically hit. Nor can you kill another character without permission from the character’s owner and a staff member. Your character cannot be perfect, no matter the gender. Everyone has flaws.

Before posting your reply, check for spelling and grammar errors. We all make mistakes, but no text talk/chat speak is allowed while role playing. Use the punctuation marks correctly; no more than one question mark or explanation mark is needed. But with periods, no more than three at one. (Example: … ) And only use that when needed.

You can make post styles. A post style is when your post is decorated, colored font, a small picture or whatever. Just make sure you can read it and it’s not hard on the eyes.

Character Creating

When you start making your profile, you have four days to finish it. For the title of your profile thread, put your character’s full name (first middle last), [WIP] when you are still working on it or [F] when you are finished. For your character’s picture, celebrities are okay to use. Or if you use a model, or find someone on a site, post a link to the site in the “play by” part of your profile. This is for copyright purposes. (Model Mayhem is a good site to find both male and female models. Put a link to the model’s profile in the “play by” section with the model’s username/real name.)

Check the Face Claims before you choose your character’s appearance. If someone already has your wanted play by, you can message the user asking to be twins, or you choose another play by person. Real life pictures only, no anime.

You can have up to four characters, but only one character per account. Which means if you have two characters, you have two accounts. If you make your second character the same gender as your first character, then your next two characters have to be the opposite gender. To summarize, if you have four characters, two have to be male, and two have to be female. This is so we don’t have too much of one gender.

Sizing

For your profile image, the width cannot be any larger than 500 pixels. Signatures should be 500 pixels wide by 200 pixels in height, no larger. Icons can be no larger than 100x100. Do not make any images flash, or have a lot of animation. It can hurt other’s eyes. If any images stretch the page, you will be asked to resize it.

Activity

If you do not notify others that you are leaving for so many days, then after two weeks you will be e-mailed or messaged. If you do not reply in a week, your account will be deleted. If there is an activity check while you are gone, and you do not notify that you will be away, your account will be deleted. But if you do notify, then your account will be kept. This is a fair warning, so do not come complaining to the staff if your account is deleted.

Thank You

Thank you for taking your time to read through the rules. If you fail to follow the rules, and get more than two warnings from any staff member, then your account can be deleted and/or banned. You will have three warnings before that happens. Oh, and the following sentence belongs in your profile. If walls could talk, there wouldn’t be any secrets.
